Adrian Lee Vanderlinden faces one first-degree and one second-degree charge in Kandiyohi County District Court. Unconditional bail was set at $150,000 with conditional bail allowed for $25,000. He was ordered to have no contact with the children involved in the case and any other children under the age of 18 and possess no weapons. According to the complaint, two Willmar Police officers were called to a Willmar residence Thursday.

They observed a pickup leaving the home and later identified Vanderlinden as the driver.

A woman there reported that a 12-year-old girl had told her that Vanderlinden had peaked into the shower while she was bathing and touched her breasts and pubic area on the morning of Oct. 18. The woman reported that she had seen Vanderlinden in the bathroom that morning while the girl was showering.

Vanderlinden returned to the home and was interviewed. He denied any sexual contact with the girl. The next day, he was arrested after a detective assigned to the case found him outside of the home attempting to contact the girl and other children.
