Man freed from grain bin, auger in YM County

CLARKFIELD -- A Montevideo man has been transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained when his leg became caught in an auger inside of a grain bin.

According to a news release from the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office, Colin Lee was taken by ambulance to Montevideo Hospital. The sheriff's office was notified around 3:20 p.m. today that a man was caught in a grain auger northeast of Clarkfield.

Emergency personnel responding to the incident included the Clarkfield ambulance and fire department, and Granite Falls Ambulance.
