According to a news release from Sheriff Jeff Norlin, a person traveling on 677th Avenue came across a four-wheeler accident around 3:45 a.m. this morning. The victim was lying on the ground near the ATV.

Deputies and the Watkins Ambulance responded and found the person deceased. The county coroner was also dispatched to the scene.

The investigation determined the man, from rural Stearns County, was eastbound on 395th Street and the tracks showed the ATV attempted to turn to go northbound on 677th Avenue. The ATV lost control and rolled, coming to a stop in the roadway with the driver lying nearby.

The sheriff's office is continuing to investigate the incident.
