Man wanted for Willmar, Minn., sex crime apprehended in Texas

WILLMAR -- The 21-year-old man wanted by Willmar Police in connection to the July 29 sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in Willmar has been apprehended in Texas.

According to the Willmar Police Facebook page, Esequiel Gomez Jr. was taken into custody in Randall County, Texas.

The police department posting also thanks everyone for passing the word and for information received in the case.
