Margaret Erdman May 9, 1919 - Sept. 11, 2009
BENSON -- Margaret Ella Erdman, 90, of Benson died Friday at Golden Living Center in Benson.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be in the Benson City Cemetery.
Visitation will be begin at 9 a.m. today at the church. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
She was born May 9, 1919, near Holloway to Frank and Anna (Behl) Suckow. She grew up on a farm in Moyer Township, Swift County, and attended school in District 90.
She married Ambrose Erdman on Nov. 10, 1937, in rural Holloway. They lived on a farm in Tara Township north of Holloway. She worked at the Swift County Benson Hospital, Meadow Lane Nursing Home and baked at several restaurants. She moved into Benson in 1965.
She is survived by four children: Marlow (and Pat) Erdman of Willmar, Bonita Hoffman of Great Falls, Mont., Lois (and Charles) Brandt of Clontarf and Dennis (and Julie) Erdman of Benson; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Etta Erdman Breen of Lompoc, Calif.; sisters: Frances Bahl of Appleton, Ida Frick of Wisconsin, Harriet Frank of Wisconsin and Ruth Dahle of California.
She was preceded in death by her son: Norman; and twin sons: Herman and John.
