Marian Joramo May 24, 1927 -- Aug. 27, 2009
GROVE CITY -- Marian Genevieve Joramo, 82, of Litchfield, formerly of Grove City, died Thursday at Emmanuel Home in Litchfield.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City. Burial will be in Lake Ripley Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the church and for one hour prior to the service Monday. Arrangements are with Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield.
She was born May 24, 1927, in Harvey Township, Meeker County, to Roy and Margaret (Gray) Olson. She grew up and received her education in Harvey Township, attending District 92.
She married Floyd Joramo Sr. on Oct. 1, 1948, in Little Falls. They owned and operated the 4 Jays Mobile Home Park in Grove City. She also was a Tupperware dealer for many years.
She was active in Trinity Lutheran Church and the Grove City Women's Club.
She is survived by her sons: Floyd Joramo Jr. (and Nancy Houk) of Litchfield and Steve (and Ruth) Joramo of Grove City; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers: Victor (and Evelyn) Olson of Litchfield, Arnold "Bud" (and Rose) Olson of Kimball and Robert (and Evangeline) Olson of Decorah, Iowa; and a sister: Ruth Peterson of Litchfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter and one sister.
