GLENWOOD -- Marianne Jane Fosker, 69, of Glenwood, died Monday at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glenwood. Spring inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Glenwood.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood.
She was born Dec. 20, 1939, in Ada to Joseph and Florence (Prigge) Murphy. She graduated from Ada High School and from Moorhead State University with honors. She worked at a psychiatric hospital in Fergus Falls, and as a teacher in Brainerd, Starbuck and Alexandria.
She married Gunnar Fosker on March 3, 1962, in Elizabeth. They lived in Minneapolis and in Norway for a year, before moving to Brainerd and finally settling in Glenwood. She worked at American Business Forms in Glenwood for many years.
She was active in the Sons of Norway and Amnesty International.
She is survived by her husband; son: Erik (and Tina) Fosker of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; and one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
