MADISON -- Marie Winnifred Clark, 89, of Madison died Monday at the Madison Lutheran Home.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Madison Lutheran Home with burial in Hayden Cemetery in Madison.
Visitation will be Wednesday with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Zahrbock Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the Madison Lutheran Home.
She was born April 18, 1919, in Olgavie to John and Nellie (Bunce) Oldenkamp. She grew up on a farm near LeCentre and attended school near the farm through the 8th grade. She then went to work for the neighbors and become involved in the 4-H program and was able to complete high school at the School of Agriculture, University of Minnesota on the St. Paul Campus.
She married Otis Clark on June 8, 1939, near Waterville. They lived and worked on their farm west of Madison. She was a farm wife and helpd on the farm. They were members of the Air Stream Club and traveled with the group to Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. She was a member of the Methodist Church and taught Sunday school, volunteered in the 4-H program and was a member of the What-Not Birthday Club. She moved into Hilltop Apartments and then into the Madison Lutheran Home.
She is survived by her three children: Janice (and Cordell) Lindall of New Auburn, Wis., Larry (and Sharon) Clark of Madison and Diane (and Robert) Fried of Appleton; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Howard Oldenkamp of Sweetholm, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and an infant granddaughter.
