NEW LONDON -- Marilyn Ruth Manson, 57, died Tuesday at her home in Williams, Ariz.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church in New London.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born July 15, 1951, in Belgrade to Paul and Lorraine (Glauvitz) Kuperus. She attended school in Belgrade and graduated in 1969. She attended Willmar Vo-Tech and graduated in 1970 with a business secretary certification.
She married David "Chip" Manson on Dec. 18, 1971. They lived on Air Force bases during his 20 year career. She was a homemaker and over the years was a daycare provider and worked in several banks and retail businesses. She was employed at Grand Canyon Railway at the time of her death. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and the New London American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband; two children: James Manson of Nellis A.F. Base, Las Vegas, and Sheri (and Brett) Chesness of Blaine; two grandchildren; her mother; siblings: June (and Mark) Templer of Cloquet, William (and Mary) of New London, Daniel of Portland, Ore., Robert (and Lisa) of Belgrade, Dale of Paynesville, Donald of Muskogee, Okla., Russell (and Betty) of New London and Jeffrey (and Becky) of Brooten.
She was preceded in death by her father and three infant brothers.
