Marius C. Paulson March 21, 1916 - June 19, 2009
PAYNESVILLE -- Marius C. Paulson, 93, of Paynesville died Friday at the Koronis Manor in Paynesville.
The service is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Irving Lutheran Church in rural Paynesville. Private burial will take place in the Eleanor Foster Cemetery near Isle.
Visitation is after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are with Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home of Paynesville.
He was born March 21, 1916, in Madelia to Paul and Edith (Grochow) Paulson.
He married Betty Anderson. She died in 1962. He married Mildred Nelson on June 4, 1966. She died in 1999.
He farmed in the Paynesville area until retiring in 1973 and went on to work at Willmar Poultry until 1996. He was a lifelong member of Zion Irving Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a daughter: Marlys (and Harvey) Lindeman of Blaine; stepchildren: Roger Nelson of Clearwater, DeWayne (and Karen) Nelson of Wyoming, Minn., and Darlene (and Math) Miller of Paynesville; one granddaughter; 10 stepgrandchildren, 15 stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Doris Lammers of Redwood Falls.
He was preceded in death by his wives, one sister and three brothers.
