MONTEVIDEO - Matthew O'Malley age 23 of Montevideo passed away on Thursday in Montevideo. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Montevideo with Father Paul Timmerman officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was from 5 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a parish prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Montevideo.

Matthew Paul O'Malley was born October 4, 1989 in Montevideo the son of Duane and Donna (Searfoss) O'Malley. He passed away on Thursday February 28, 2013 in Montevideo. He was baptized at St. Joseph Catholic Church and grew up in Montevideo, receiving his education there and graduating from Montevideo High School. He had recently been working for J & D Construction in Montevideo. He is a former boy scout and enjoyed skateboarding, hiking, four wheeling, music, video games, animals, traveling and cooking. Matthew is survived by his parents Duane and Donna O'Malley of Montevideo; sister: Amy O'Malley of White Bear Lake; grandmother: Sally O'Malley of Benson; special friend: Corina Kells of Madison; aunts and uncles: Dennis (Teresa Wood) O'Malley of Rochester; Diane (Don) Anspach of Morris; Dan (Brenda) O'Malley of Sauk Rapids; Deb (Scott) Mokszycke of Ramsey; Donna (Don) Bradley of Hazel Run; Darla (Terry) Polzin of Richfield;; Carol (Bill) Baucher of Lewes, Delaware; Elizabeth Brislin of Navarre, Florida; Virginia Butler of Nanticoke, Pennsylvania; David (Pat) Searfoss of Hanover, Pennsylvania; Chris (Rick) Parlante of Naples, Florida and numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Elizabeth and Elmer Searfoss; Francis O'Malley; uncles: Richard Searfoss and David O'Malley; and cousins: Jason O'Malley, Kenny Pahler, and Brian Kemmerer.
