Maynard, Minn. woman injured in hit-and-run accident

MONTEVIDEO - A Maynard woman was injured Saturday morning in a hit-and-run accident near Montevideo.

According to the State Patrol, Susan Ripley, 43, was going west on state Highway 7 when the 2001 Chevy Venture she was driving was struck by a vehicle that was going south on 40th Avenue Southwest.

The unidentified driver of the vehicle left the scene, and headed west towards Montevideo. The vehicle was described as a maroon four-door car that likely had damage to the driver's side, including a broken window and missing side mirror.

Ripley was treated for injuries at the Montevideo hospital and released.

The accident was reported at 7:41 a.m.
