Meetings tonight for middle school students, parents

WILLMAR -- Informational meetings will be held this evening for students and parents about the new Willmar Middle School next year.

A meeting for next year's sixth-graders and their parents will be at 6 p.m. today in the Willmar Junior High gymnasium. A similar meeting for next year's seventh-graders and their parents will be at 7 p.m. in the gym.

The Willmar School Board recently reorganized several school buildings, and decided to make the current junior high building a middle school next year by adding the sixth grade.

The fifth-graders and sixth-graders currently attending Roosevelt Elementary will be attending Willmar Middle School in the fall.
