The wall will honor those who have been killed in action or died of wounds during military service in Afghanistan or Iraq, according to a news release.

The troops, 67 in all, are from the United States Army and Marine forces. The decision to honor the fallen members of these wars was made by the Minnesota Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America and the Minnesota Department of the Retired Officers Association, the host organizations who raised the funds for the project.

All immediate family members have been invited to attend, as well as Gov. Mark Dayton and former Gov. Tim Pawlenty and other state and national leaders.

The wall is open for public viewing at the 934th Officers' Club at Ft. Snelling but is subject to club availability. Please contact the Minnesota Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America for more information at www.mcmoaa.org/
