Beau Herrig paced the Warriors with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.

Neil Helgeson added 15 points and 6 rebounds while hitting the team's only two 3-pointers.

The Warriors had a slim 40-39 lead at the half over the Conquerors, who play in the NIAC.

"It was a game of runs, a game of streaks," Warriors' coach Bob Knutson said. "We played pretty good defense and we played really well on the boards."

The Warriors had 59 team rebounds, against just 37 for AFLBS.

Terrance Lockett had a team-high 11 boards for the Warriors, to go with 12 points, 6 assists and 4 steals.

Ridgewater pulled away in the second half, outscoring AFLBS 38-30.

"We had a little challenge with these guys to start out with, but we gathered ourselves and I was pretty impressed with the way we finished," Knutson said.

The Warriors play the Mayville State (N.D.) JV team at noon today in St. Cloud.
