The Warriors dropped below .500 with the loss and are now 5-6.

They play again Saturday at the Fergus Falls Invite with a 1 p.m. game against Itasca Community College.

Peter Cassady, Derek Hogenson and Jackson Schepp all scored in double-digits for the Cobbers, who shot 49 percent from the field, while Ridgewater shot 44 percent.

“We had our chances,” Ridgewater head coach Bob Knutson said. “They played so well on the outside we had a hard time containing them. They shot the three ball pretty well.”

The Warriors are down to seven players due to injuries and ineligible players.

“We’re kind of fragmented and we’re trying to find our identity again,” Knutson said. “We didn’t play with a lot of passion tonight. We should’ve had them.”

Terrance Lockett notched 14 points and 6 rebounds for Ridgewater, and DeJuan Curry had 10 points.

Herrig grabbed 11 rebounds.
