DAWSON -- Mildred Irene Just, 85, of Dawson, died Saturday at the Johnson Memorial Home in Dawson.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Zion Lutheran Church, Tyro Township, rural Boyd. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Hanson and Dahl Funeral Home in Dawson with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
She was born Feb. 11, 1923, in Minneapolis to Emil and Inga (Medtlyng) Lyngen. She grew up in Watson, attended country school and graduated from Appleton High School in 1940. She attended nurse's training in Chicago from 1942 to 1945.
She married Urban Just on Sept. 21, 1947, in Boyd. They lived in rural Boyd and Clarkfield and moved to Granite Falls in 1981 and to Dawson in 2003. She worked as a nurse at the Clarkfield Hospital until her retirement in 1984.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter: Carolyn (and Stan) Nelson of Dawson; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one sister: Elaine Jacobson of St. Paul.
She was preceded in death by her son: Kenneth in 1972; and one sister.
