Mill City Summer Opera returns to Minneapolis, Minn., in July

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Opera buffs will have a chance to hear Rossini's popular comedy, “The Barber of Seville,” in the ruins of a Minneapolis mill this summer.

The Mill City Summer Opera returns with its second season production this July. The five performances will take place in the Ruin Courtyard of the Mill City Museum.

Tickets go on sale May 20.

Last year, the company sold out its debut run of “Pagliacci” (pal-ee-ah-chee).

David Lefkowich returns as artistic director for the Mill City Summer Opera's second season.
