Milroy man hurt in crash south of Clara City

CLARA CITY -- A 19-year-old Milroy man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment of a leg injury after a sideswipe crash around 7:50 p.m. Sunday along State Highway 23 south of Clara City.

According to the State Patrol, Dustin W. Turgeon was driving a 2003 Ford Focus that crossed the center line and struck a 2005 Peterbilt semi driven by Michael K. Versaevel, 36, of Marshall. Versaevel was not injured.

After the impact, the semi overturned. The crash happened about three miles south of Clara City. The Chippewa County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene of the crash.
