Milroy's 16-hit attack overwhelms Rails, 14-1


WILLMAR -- Driving the ball to all fields, the Milroy Yankees pushed in three runs in the first and two more in the second en route to hammering the Willmar Rails 14-1 in seven innings Monday in a Cornbelt League game.

The Yankees unleashed a 16-hit attack to keep the Rails (2-13 overall) searching for their first Cornbelt win.

Austin Dietz went the distance to earn the win on the mound, striking out 10 and allowing just four hits and two walks.
