Minn. man wins $100,000 — again

Email

MINNESOTA CITY (AP) — A Minnesota City man has beaten long odds with a scratch-off lottery ticket.

For the second time in a little more than a year, Mike Mendyk has hit the jackpot, winning another $100,000.

Mendyk beat odds of 1 in 610,000 with a $5 Cash and Cadillac scratch-off ticket. Mendyk says he used his lucky scratcher, a silver envelope opener, to reveal the top prize. It's the same one he used last year when he won the same amount on a Walleye Winnings ticket.
