Minnesota's winning Powerball ticket sold in Anoka County
MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota lottery officials say the state's winning Powerball jackpot ticket was sold in Anoka County.
Minnesota had a single winning ticket for Wednesday night's $448 million jackpot, with two others sold in New Jersey. The Anoka County store where the ticket was sold has not been announced.
Spokeswoman Debbie Hoffmann said it's Minnesota's 22nd jackpot winner in the big game. Hoffmann said the state's big jackpot winners typically have waited about a week before contacting lottery officials.
The winner has a year from the date of drawing to claim it.
Hoffman said winners usually take an immediate payout rather than installments over time. The Minnesota share in a lump sum would be $86 million before taxes.
The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night were: 5, 25, 30, 58, 59 and Powerball 32.
