According to a news release from Sheriff Jeff Norlin, a burglary was reported on June 7 along Highway 24 in Forrest City. A 1991 Bobcat, valued at $7,500, and other tools were missing.

During the investigation, numerous leads were followed along with a Crime Stoppers tip from a party that had specific information that led investigators to believe the Bobcat was in rural Hennepin County.

On March 3, working with the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office about more information on a possible location, a search warrant was executed in Corcoran. The Bobcat was recovered and Leonard William Brusletten was arrested.

This case is still under investigation. Norlin wishes to remind that you may get your tips to the Meeker County Sheriff's Office by calling the confidential tip line at (320) 693-5411, or text your tip at "TIP674 plus your message" to "CRIMES" (274637). You may also call Crime Stoppers toll free at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
