Missing Willmar, Minn., woman located, is in good health and safe
WILLMAR -- Marian Erickson has been located and is "in good health and safe" according to a news release from the Willmar Police Department.
Erickson was located around 7 p.m. evening, according to the release from Police Sgt. Michael Anderson.
Police officers and Kandiyohi County Sheriff's deputies began searching for the 78-year-old woman after she went missing from the downtown Willmar area this afternoon.
Family members became concerned when they were unable to locate Erickson and notified police, who sent out alerts to area media outlets.
Apparently, Erickson had been visiting a relative at Rice Memorial Hospital, and left the hospital on foot about noon today. She suffers from have memory loss, though will appear normal in most situations.
According to the release, the Willmar Police Department and the Erickson family would like to thank everybody who participated in the search for Marian Erickson.
