MnDOT pulls plows in southwestern Minnesota

WILLMAR -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation as of 10:30 this morning has pulled the plows off the highways until further notice in the counties of Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Pipestone, Redwood and Renville in southwest Minnesota due to blowing snow and zero visibility. No unnecessary travel is advised.

No highway closures in southwest Minnesota are anticipated at this time. MnDOT will continue to monitor the highways and if conditions continue to deteriorate or if the roadways become impassable, road closures may be necessary.
