MnDOT sets public meetings May 16 for Highway 212, 75 projects

MONTEVIDEO -- Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation and prime contractor Duininck Inc. will provide a progress report and plans for upcoming construction activities, answer questions and address concerns Wednesday, May 16, for the Highway 212 and Highway 75 projects.

The public is invited to learn more about the paving projects at 11 a.m. at the Trailways Café, 605 W. Highway 212, Montevideo, and at 1 p.m. at Dawson City Hall, 675 Chestnut St., Dawson.

The project locations are:

n Highway 212 from Highway 75 to the east end of Dawson; Lac Qui Parle County Road 35 to the east junction of Highway 59.

n Highway 75 from one-half mile south to one mile north of Highway 212. The project includes grading paving the road, installing accessible pedestrian ramp and improving traffic signals.
