Montevideo levee good

Duininck Companies Inc. began moving 2,000 cubic yards of material Wednesday to raise portions of the main levee in Montevideo. The work will assure the entire length of the main levee is able to protect against a 23-foot-high level of water on the Minnesota River, with two feet of freeboard.
