Jolicouer died Wednesday after suffering a stroke. She was inaugurated as the college's 10th president in 2005.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members came together in a half-hour memorial service this morning to honor Jolicouer through prayer and song.

Arrangements are being made today for Jolicouer's funeral and a formal memorial service on campus. Concordia officials said the plans should be announced later this afternoon.
