Mailboxes vandalized

WILLMAR -- Nine mailboxes between the 7500 block and 6900 block of Long Lake Road were damaged, residents along the road reported Friday to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department. The vandalism occurred Thursday night.

Thefts

PENNOCK -- Two theft incidents in Pennock were reported Friday to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department. In one incident, a vehicle was forcibly entered and a radio, CDs and wallet were taken. In another incident, the driver's side window was broken to gain entery to a Dodge Caravan and a stereo was stolen.

Underage consumption

WILLMAR -- Willmar Police cited nine individuals between the ages of 18 and 20 for underage consumption after officers were called to a noisy party shortly before 1 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of 24th Street Northwest.

In addition, one 16-year-old male was cited for fleeing a peace office and for underage consumption, two renters were cited for violating the city's noisy gathering ordinance, and a 20-year-old male was cited for fiving a false name to a peace officer and for violation of the noisy gathering ordinance.

Officers were on the scene for two hours.
