Graffiti suspects identified, investigation continues

WILLMAR -- Two male juveniles, ages 17 and 16, have been identified as suspects in the graffiti outbreak over the weekend on the city's southwest and northeast sides. Both teens were cited for underage consumption around noon Sunday along the 500 block of 15th Street Southeast.

Burglary

WILLMAR -- The burglary of a home was reported around 11:45 p.m. Sunday along the 900 block of Olaf Avenue Northwest. Missing items from the home included a video game system, controllers, games and a laptop computer.

NEW LONDON -- An attempted burglary was reported around 11 a.m. Monday at Skindeliens Standard, 37 N. Main St. Someone had attempted to kick in a door.

Theft

WILLMAR -- The theft of a MP3 player was reported around 6:30 p.m. Sunday along the 1400 block of Fifth Street Southwest.

WILLMAR -- The theft of $298 from the account of a vulnerable adult was reported around 10 a.m. Monday along the 1100 block of Second Street Southeast.

Arrests

WILLMAR -- A 35-year-old Willmar man was arrested for theft by shoplifting and fleeing a peace officer on foot after a chase around 10:10 p.m. Sunday along 19th Avenue. The merchandise in question had come from Super Wal-Mart, 700 19th Ave. S.E.

WILLMAR -- A 26-year-old Willmar man was arrested around 8 p.m. Sunday along the 1400 block of Fifth Street Southwest on charges of second-degree assault, domestic assault and burglary.

WILLMAR -- A Willmar woman, no age given, was arrested for not having a Minnesota driver's license around 8 a.m. Monday along the 1200 block of 22nd Street Southwest.
