Motor vehicle tampering
WILLMAR -- A 19-year-old Annandale man was charged with criminal damage to property and theft after a traffic stop around 2:25 a.m. Tuesday in the city. The stop was made after a report, around 2:15 a.m., from Ridgewater College that there were people under a vehicle parked at the college using a tool to steal gas or exhaust equipment from the vehicle.
WILLMAR -- Graffiti on a building was reported around 1 p.m. Monday along the 800 block of Campbell Avenue Northwest.
WILLMAR -- A car window damaged by BB gun pellets was reported around noon Tuesday along the 1300 block of 24th Street Northwest.
WILLMAR -- The Willmar Fire Department was paged to an electrical box fire around 4:15 p.m. Monday at the Eagles Club, 136 Sixth St. S.W. The department was on scene for about 20 minutes.
WILLMAR -- A 21-year-old male was arrested for driving while impaired and open container around 5 p.m. Sunday along Becker Avenue and 10th Street. A passenger, a 16-year-old male, was cited for underage consumption and released to a parent.
