Boy to hospital after parking lot crash
WILLMAR -- A 12-year-old Willmar boy was taken by ambulance to Rice Memorial Hospital for treatment of elbow and leg injuries suffered in a car/bicycle crash around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday.
The boy was riding a bike in a parking lot along the 3100 block of Seventh Avenue Northwest when he was struck by a 2000 Dodge Intrepid driven by Heather R. Compeau, 30, of Willmar.
Underage consumption
WILLMAR -- Five youth, from 18 to 20, were cited for underage consumption around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday along the 400 block of 30th Street Northwest.
WILLMAR -- Ten people were cited for underage consumption around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday along the 1200 block of 24th Street Northwest.
Theft
WILLMAR -- A gas drive-off theft was reported around 11:10 a.m. Tuesday at Little Dukes, 130 Fifth St. S.E.
WILLMAR -- The theft of clothing, video games and jewelry was reported around noon Tuesday along the 400 block of Litchfield Avenue Southwest.
WILLMAR -- The theft of money was reported around 4:30 p.m. along the 500 block of Russell Street Northwest.
Property damage
WILLMAR -- A spate of car vandalism was reported Tuesday afternoon and evening along the 1100 and 1200 blocks of 24th Street Northwest. Five vehicles were damaged.
WILLMAR -- Graffiti on a bus and a building was reported around 2 p.m. Tuesday along the 1000 block of Third Street Southeast.
