KANDIYOHI -- Morgan Leigh Cline, 17, of Kandiyohi, died Wednesday near Marshall in an automobile accident.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Covenant Church in Willmar. Burial will be in Fayetteville, N.C.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Memorials are preferred to First Covenant Church Ecuador Mission or the Humane Society of Kandiyohi County.

She was born Aug. 10, 1991, in Fayetteville, N.C., to Ted and Sheila (Cline) Bass. The family moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., when she was 2, and they moved to Willmar in 1995. She attended Willmar Public Schools. She was currently enrolled in the post-secondary education option at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, in the pre-vet medicine program.

She was active in speech and was part of the set crews for the high school productions of "Anything Goes" and "South Pacific. She participated in basketball, softball, track, band, orchestra and choir. She was active with First Covenant Youth Group, where she participated in mission trips to Ecuador and Chicago.

She is survived by her parents of Kandiyohi; brother: Logan, at home; maternal grandparents: William and Peggy Cline of Fayetteville, N.C.; and paternal grandmother: Lynda Bass of Fayetteville, N.C.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: Charles Bass.
