Morris, Minn., educator seeks 12A DFL endorsement

MORRIS -- An educator and early childhood program coordinator in Morris is seeking the DFL endorsement for the District 12A House of Representative seat in the Minnesota Legislature.

Tamy Reese announced her candidacy this week, stating she wants to be a voice for citizens in rural Minnesota.

She has served on a variety of advisory boards for education in the area.

Education, affordable health care, job creation and training are among the areas she will focus, she said in a press release.

Reese is married to Greg Reese, a Stevens County Sheriff's deputy. They have two children, Annmarie, 18, and Roy, 16.
