Morris, Minn., Police investigate report of six held against will during armed robbery

MORRIS - The Morris Police Department is investigating a report that a group of armed men broke into a home in Morris and stole cash and valuables while detaining the six occupants.

According to a press release from the Morris Police Department, at approximately 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, they responded to a report that four or five armed black men entered a home on East 2nd Street in Morris at around midnight that day and detained the six occupants while they stole some cash and valuables.

"No one was injured in the event, but the unidentified intruders did leave with an undetermined amount of cash and valuables," the release stated.

The Morris Police Department and other assisting agencies are continuing the investigation. Anyone with information should call the Morris Police Department at 320-208-6500.
