West Central Sanitation is presently authorized to transfer mixed municipal solid waste, recyclable materials, appliances, waste tires, scrap metals and electronics. All waste and recyclable materials will be transferred to an approved and permitted site for processing or for final disposal.

Recyclables, appliances, waste tires, scrap metals and electronics will be transferred to a facility that has been permitted to manage them.

The deadline to submit comments is Aug. 14. Comments should be sent to: Anthony Bello, engineering specialist senior, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, 520 Lafayette Road N., St. Paul, Minn. 55155, or call 651-757-2219.
