Muriel I. Goulson Nov. 3, 1928 - March 13, 2009
BENSON -- Muriel I. Goulson, 80, of Redwood Falls, formerly of Benson and Willmar, died Friday at Seasons Hospice House in Redwood Falls.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be in the Benson City Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
She was born Nov. 3, 1928, in Benson to Ole and Merle Tollefson. She attended District 59 country school.
She married Arnold Goulson on Nov. 1, 1947, in Benson. She worked at the Benson café and Paris Hotel, and owned the L & M café in Benson. They moved to Willmar where she worked at the Divine House.
She is survived by her two daughters: Mary (and Tom) Sullivan of Morton and Kathy (and Gary) Clark of Murdock; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings: Lorene Sulier of Willmar and Ollie (and Jean) Tollefson, of Fair Oaks, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003 and two brothers.
