Myrtle I. Luthi

HANCOCK -- Myrtle Irene Luthi, 91, of Hancock, died Tuesday at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Hancock. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
She was born March 22, 1917, in Nora Township, Pope County, to Olaus and Ruby Larson. She attended Pope County School District 50.
She married Albert Luthi on Feb. 22, 1949. They lived and farmed on the north end of Page Lake in rural Hancock.
She was a longtime member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Hancock and an active member of the women's circle and service group.
She is survived her four children: Aldean (and Charlotte) Luthi of Hancock, Gloria (and David) Nichtern of Starbuck, Betty Ann (and Carl) Batdorf of Sartell and Virene Luthi of Hancock; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Pearl (and Omer) Christianson of Terrace and Florence (and Norman) Schwendeman of Oak Park Heights.
She is preceded in death her husband in 1990, four sisters and one brother.
