WILLMAR -- Myrtle Ogren 102, of Willmar, died Aug. 26 at Bethesda Pleasantview.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Willmar. Burial will be in Cloverleaf Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by Harvey Anderson Funeral Home of Willmar.
She was born March 5, 1906, in Willmar to John and Emma (Olson) Sandin. She grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School in 1924.
She married Victor Ogren on June 23, 1952, in Webster, S.D. She was a bookkeeper for Woolworths from 1927 to 1951 and for Habicht's from 1954 to 1969, when she retired.
She was a lifetime member of Bethel Lutheran Church, where she volunteered in the church library, sang in the choir, quilted with the churchwomen and had been active with the churchwomen. She volunteered at Rice Hospital Auxiliary working in the gift shop and helped at the registration information desk. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by her daughter: Marjorie (and John) Yaeger of Rochester, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; son: James on Aug. 29, 2007; and two brothers.
