LAGRANGE, Ky. -- Myrtle Amanda Sigg, 85, formerly of Willmar, died April 26 in LaGrange, Ky.
The service will be held May 16 in White Bear Lake.
She was born July 11, 1923, in Canada to Ole and Eline Melby. She spent most of her childhood in Willmar.
She married James Sigg in 1945. They lived in California, Wisconsin, Arkansas, New Jersey, Minnesota, Flordia, and finally Kentucky.
She is survived by her children: Brian (and Beverly) Sigg of Flemington, N.J., Timothy (and Kathleen) Sigg of Coon Rapids, Thomas (and Delane) Sigg of Columbia Heights, Bonnie (and Mervyn) Thynne of Shaker Heights, Ohio, and MaryBeth (and Daniel) Schwegman of Crestwood, Ky; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister: Violet (and Ken) Melby Rosine of Maple Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996, a grandson, five brothers and a sister.
