The woman, whom police did not identify, was taken away in an ambulance for further evaluation.

Farmington Police Chief Brian Lindquist said police believe the woman was suffering from a psychological condition.

Lindquist said the woman drove herself to the bank and parked around the corner before wandering in.

It does not appear anyone else was with the woman.

"I can't imagine someone else would have allowed her to do that," Lindquist said.

Police do not plan to pursue criminal charges against the woman.
