Name of Belgrade fire victim released, body sent for autopsy

BELGRADE -- The 64-year-old woman found dead after a Saturday morning house fire in Belgrade is Dianne Marie Baker, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.

Baker is identified as the homeowner at 120 Washburn Ave., where her body was located by Belgrade Fire Department personnel. Her body has been sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal is continuing to investigate the fire.

The fire department and law officers were dispatched to the fire around 9:40 a.m. Saturday and found the home consumed with smoke. The fire was extinguished and then Baker's body discovered.
