Name released of driver killed in truck fire

OLIVIA -- The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the driver who was killed when a propane truck caught fire on the western edge of Olivia Sunday morning.

The Patrol identifies him as Brad M. Ripley, 44, of Mankato.

The Patrol said Ripley's truck was westbound on U.S. Highway 212 and was turning north onto U.S. Highway 71 when the truck overturned, caught fire and exploded around 7:20 a.m. Sunday. The crash remains under investigation.
