N.D. deputy resigns after arrest for Minn. break-in

GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- A Walsh County, N.D., sheriff's deputy charged in last week's break-in at a Crookston gas station resigned Tuesday.


Adam Koenig, 22, Park River, N.D., submitted his resignation Tuesday morning, Sheriff Lauren Wild told the Walsh County Commission.

Commissioners gave Wild permission to hire a replacement for Koenig, who was hired in September.
