Michelle Stubstad says her husband, Neil, was taking feed to horses late Friday afternoon when the bale fell off the loader. She says he became wedged between the loader and the bale but man-aged to free himself and crawl about 200 feet to the farmhouse to get help. The distance he crawled is about two-thirds of a football field.

Stubstad says her 50-year-old husband suffered four broken ribs and a punctured lung. He was listed in stable condition Monday.
