New London man pleads to drug possession charge, found with drugs in car

WILLMAR -- Jeremiah Raymond Johnson, 32, of New London, pleaded guilty Monday to a second-degree drug possession charge for possessing 9.5 grams of methamphetamine found on his hands, clothing and vehicle by CEE-VI Drug Task Force agents at a rural Belgrade home.

As part of a plea agreement, a petty misdemeanor for paraphernalia possession will be dismissed. He will be sentenced June 4. The plea came two days before Johnson was to stand trial in Kandiyohi County District Court.
