New scoreboard expected in Target Field upgrades
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Twins are planning some upgrades for Target Field.
Team officials will tell the media about their plans at the ballpark for this morning. A new scoreboard for the right field seating area is expected to be among the enhancements announced.
The Twins say in announcing today's briefing that officials from South Dakota-based scoreboard maker Daktronics will be among the dignitaries at the event.
Twins spokesman Chris Iles says the improvements to the ballpark will include adjustments to audio-visual elements and concession areas as well as a variety of aesthetical changes.
