Nice weather expected for Thanksgiving

WILLMAR -- The weather should be cooperative for people who will be driving to Thanksgiving gatherings or looking for good deals on Black Friday.

Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be sunny with high temperatures in the upper 40s in west central Minnesota, according to the National Weather Service.

Lows are expected to be around 20 tonight and in the 30s Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Winds will be from the south, blowing in at less than 10 mph.

Friday is forecast to be partly sunny with a high in the mid-40s.

Beginning Friday night, the area will have a slight chance of rain and snow, and winds will pick up. Saturday is expected to be cloudy and blustery with a high in the mid-30s and a low in the mid-20s.

Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high in the lower 30s.
