NLS board conducts first reading of technology policy

NEW LONDON -- The New London-Spicer School Board conducted its first reading of the district's new Bring Your Own Technology policy at its regular meeting Monday.

Starting in September, the policy will allow students to bring their own electronic devices to school to use for educational purposes via the district's wireless internet network. Students and their parents are expected to sign an agreement before the student is allowed to use their equipment on the school network.
