NLS boys third at Alex golf meet

ALEXANDRIA -- New London-Spicer took third at the Alexandria Invitational led by Ryan Bergh with a 76, Chris Tobkin at 77 and Joey Dreier at 83 on Thursday.

Alexandria Black, paced by medalist Casey Vangness's 71, won the meet with a 302 score followed by Moorhead at 317 and then NLS at 329.

Willmar finished 13th out of 14 teams after shooting a 351. Stevin Carlson's 83 was the low score for the Cardinals.
